Hvad er bæredygtig emballage?

Packaging that over time reduces its environmental footprint is sustainable packaging. Ingredients, production process and reusability play important roles in this. When using recycled or raw materials that can easily be degraded over time, a significant step has been taken. At Ecobliss we use recycled cardboards for example. But also the adhesive being used to make sure all components are firmly welded together, is water-based in our cold seal technique.

But it doesn't stop there. Our own operations are built around the same principle. Our facility runs on close to a thousand solar panels, uses no natural gas for heating, and our production is CO2 neutral. The cold seal process itself needs no heat at all. And by design, most of our packaging lets you cleanly separate the components after opening for recycling. A growing number of solutions need no separation at all, because they are made entirely from a single source material.
