The clamshell back hinge is a Locked4Kids format that secures a product between two formed shells with a hinged back. It meets the highest child-resistance standards in Europe and the United States, certified to ISO/EN 8317 and US 16 CFR 1700.20 at an F=1 level. Very few packaging companies in the world make child-resistant packaging at this level, and Ecobliss is one of them.

Hard for children, easy for the people who need it

The hinge and locking sequence stop young children while keeping the pack senior-friendly, so older and less dexterous patients can open it without a fight. For specialty and complex medication, where each pack can carry thousands of euros of value and adherence drives the result, that balance is not a detail, it is the point.
