Which dosage forms does Ecobliss pack secondary?
Prefilled syringes, vials, bottles and blister strips each need their own secondary pack. We design the wallet, carton or kit around your primary pack, for example a wallet that holds a syringe together with its instructions, and pack it with serialisation where your market requires it.

What is secondary contract packaging?
Secondary packaging is the layer around the primary pack, such as wallets, cartons, kits and child-resistant packs, together with serialisation. In secondary contract packaging, Ecobliss arranges those components and assembles that layer for you under GMP.
Can you do secondary packaging for syringes and vials?
Yes. We accommodate all primary packed dosage forms, including bottles, vials, syringes, suppositories and solid oral forms, for example in a wallet that holds a syringe together with its instructions.
Is your secondary packaging GMP-licensed?
Yes. Ecobliss is GMP-licensed for secondary packaging of human and veterinary medicines, including controlled substances, with GDP-compliant warehouses on site.
Do you serialise to the EU Falsified Medicines Directive?
Yes. Serialisation is FMD-compliant and built into our packing, with track-and-trace for full supply chain visibility. For Germany, the directive runs through securPharm: since 9 February 2019 every prescription pack carries a Data Matrix code (with the product number as PPN or NTIN, a serial number, batch and expiry date) and an anti-tampering device.
